Kia Seltos SUV Launched: Price, Features,Variants & More
It has already been confirmed that the upcoming Kia Seltos compact SUV would be available in India in two trims: Tech Line and GT Line. We now have an even more detailed breakup of the variants within those trims and the features that are likely to be on offer.
The Kia Seltos SUV is one of the most awaited cars to launch in India this year and rightly so, as the Seltos from Kia Motors India comes with a lot of features, great design and is expected to have an aggressive price as well. The interest around the Kia Seltos has been so much that the Seltos managed to gather 6,046 bookings on the first day of bookings commencing. This is an average of over 250 Seltos bookings per hour! And in five weeks, this figure has crossed the 35,000 mark.
The grille though with its textured chrome grille surround and glossy back mesh pattern grille, LED day time running lights (DRLs) and taillamps, and a full LED headlamp cluster at the top end are common to both. As is the LED strip that takes the DRLs further along the top of the front grille almost all the way to the centre – as the car’s nightime signature. This only comes on when the parking or head lights are used.

Kia has finally launched the Seltos in India with an impressive pricing that ranges between Rs 9.69 lakh to Rs 15.99 lakh.The Seltos has also garnered over 30,000 bookings within a span of five weeks.
SPECIFICATIONS:
The Seltos is available in two trim options — GT Line and Tech Line, which are further split into 8 variants. Talking about dimensions, the Seltos is 4315mm tall, 1800mm wide and 1625mm tall. The wheelbase measurement stands at 2610mm and it has a 433-litre boot space capacity.
The Seltos comes with three engines: a set of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel along with a 1.4-litre Turbo GDI petrol motor. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine develops 115PS and 144Nm. The diesel engine develops 115PS and 250Nm while the 1.4-litre Turbo GDI motor churns out 140PS and 242Nm. The SUV will come with the choice of a 6-speed manual gearbox, CVT, a 6-speed torque converter as well as a first-in-segment 7-speed DCT.
FEATURES:
The Seltos will come loaded with premium features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, an 8-inch HUD, reclining rear seats, automatic climate control and an 8-speaker Bose sound system. It also gets an air purifier, ventilated seats and a plethora of connected tech that goes by the name UVO Connect. The Kia Seltos will take on the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, and the MG Hector in India.
