Amitabh Bachchan began the Tuesday episode with rollover contestant Ajeet Kumar. Ajeet hails from Hajipur, Bihar and works as a jail superintendent. He had won Rs 12.5 lakh in the last episode with the help of two lifelines.
Ajeet Kumar took some time before he answered the 13th question for Rs 25 lakh. However, he did not use any lifeline and gave the answer and it was right. The Hajipur contestant used his third lifeline to answer the 14th question for Rs 50 lakh. KBC expert Shweta Jha gave the correct answer and helped Ajeet win Rs 50 lakh. The question was ‘Who was the first captain of India’s national football team after independence?’ The correct answer to the question was Talimeren Ao.
After having a look at the 15th question for Rs 1 crore, Ajeet utilised his last lifeline 50:50. He took some time but gave the correct answer and became the fourth crorepati of the season. The question was ‘Which was the first British satellite to have been launched by a British rocket?’ The correct answer to the question was Prospero.
Ajeet Kumar didn’t take much time to decide to quit the game after having a look at the jackpot question, as he had no idea about it. The question was, ‘Who is the first cricketer to score two T20 International fifties on the same day in two different matches?’ The correct answer to the question was Mohammad Shahzad.
Before Ajeet Kumar, Gautam Jha from Madhubani, Sanoj Raj from Bihar and Babita Tade from Maharashtra have won Rs 1 crore on Kaun Banega Crorepati 11. Ajeet Kumar is the third contestant from Bihar to win Rs 1 crore in this season.
