13 Reasons Why season 3 is finally coming and the wait is almost over! Netflix has officially announced that the show will return on August 23 for another 13 episodes. They also released a brand new trailer that gives fans a sneak peek as to what they should expect in this new season and it has a SHOCKING reveal that you won’t believe.
Season 3 might be a little less graphic
As we await 13 Reasons Why season 3, Netflix has announced that they are making some edits to the show’s first season. The streaming platform has decided to remove Hannah Baker’s suicide scene from the finale of season 1 “on the advice of medical experts, including Dr. Christine Moutier, Chief Medical Officer at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention,” they said in a statement.

Who’s coming back?
It looks like everyone will be back from the main cast, including the likes of Minnette, Christian Navarro (Tony Padilla), Brandon Flynn (Justin Foley), Justin Prentice (Bryce Walker) and Alisha Boe (Jessica Davis).
There’s also a possibility that Katherine Langford will be back as Hannah Baker, as we know she was in season two despite Hannah’s tragic suicide.
“There’s a whole life that Hannah had, and there’s more we can learn about her. Overall, learning more about her is more important to the entire narrative,” Minnette outlined.
How many episodes does 13 Reasons Why season 3 have?
13 Reasons Why season 3 will have 13 episodes in total, the same as seasons one and two. Again, all 13 episodes will be released at the same time. So far, no episode titles have been revealed ahead of the seasons release date.
What will happen in 13 Reasons Why season 3?
As we’ve seen in the trailers, season 3 will focus on the death (or should we say, murder?) of Bryce Walker.
The season picks up 8 months after the events of the season 2 finale where Tyler was about to carry out a shooting at Liberty High’s Spring Fling dance. Clay, Tony, Jessica, Alex, Justin, and Zach all find ways to help shoulder the burden of trying to cover-up Tyler’s plans together while helping him move toward recovery.
